I'm not sure if any site calculates season chunks like that. Keep in mind that he only had 2 PPP in 18 games with the Habs.

Lines and D pairings at practice:

    Vanek-Desharnais-Pacioretty
    Bournival-Plekanec-Gallagher
    Gionta-Eller-Briere
    Weise-White-Moen
    Parros-Prust

    Gorges-Subban
    Markov-Emelin
    Murray-Weaver
    Tinordi-Bouillon

Bourque stayed home with the flu. Briere is at risk of being scratched because he was the guy replacing Bourque in the practice lines. Prust and Bouillon were also not in the regular lineup.

So it looks like Murray may be in the lineup?

Also, I said this to a buddy of mine after Game 2, but has there been a faster fall than Prust? A year ago, he was one of the most-loved Habs. He fit on any line, would hit, fight, and had just enough offence to be a small threat. This year, especially in Game 2, he's looked horrible.

Goalies: Kochetkov, Talbot, Vasilevskiy, Campbell, Schmid

I'd be shocked to find out Prust isn't carrying some sort of injury.

I doubt Prust has played a single game without injury. I would imagine sitting out would be to heal up with this option coming because guys like White can be plugged in.

Great game so far tonight. They look much more in control. Price playing astounding as usual, but this one is more of a team effort.

Also: conducting a scientific experiment. I didn't have a beer in the third period last game when they blew the 3-1 lead. Am having a beer in the third period tonight. We shall see the results.

I trust if they hold on and your experiment holds true, that you will be drinking copious amounts of beer every period in the foreseeable playoff future?

And it will only get more complex as more games are played.

"Ok. I need to drink a beer in the first two minutes and finish it before the clock hits 17min. I then have to crack open a second one at the 7min mark, because the habs have played well when I did that. At the intermission, I have to drink an IPA - can't be anything else. Then, at the third faceoff in the second period..."

You have to take it for the team. Hopefully you are surrounded by patient people in your life...

Weaver is making Bergevin look pretty darn smart. So is Weise for that matter.

But seriously, I think the stability Weaver brings on the third pairing is huge.

He's a righty which makes all the difference. It's always a bit awkward having a lefty on that side.
