Yahoo did their team previews of the Habs a few days back. Only issue is they got Tinordi's first name wrong.

Also, I just noticed we hit more than 100,000 page views. Congrats everyone.

Guess Nygren is a man of his word- “Training camp ends [on Thursday], and nobody knows anything yet [in terms of the final roster]. Still, you have a feeling inside yourself [of what to expect], and of course I feel like I need to do something great [against the Senators],” confessed Nygren.

    Good start tonight.

Yes indeed! I looked around today because I knew the milestone was approaching and did not see any other thread above 61k views. I might be wrong but this is by far the most busy thread on the forum. Thanks to everyone for participating and checking in over the years!

I had read that the he hadn't had a chance to use his big shot during the preseason games. I guess he had his chance now.

Tonight we saw the best look of the first line of reinforcements when injuries hit during the season. Outside of Tinordi and Bournival... ouch! I know it's only one game but as a whole they did not do a lot of good tonight.

Just to clarify my previous comment, I am not overreacting. I know the Habs had an inferior lineup tonight. I just expected more push-back from the guys giving their final impression to the coach. Most of the players were pretty ineffective.

I don't trust Budaj very much, but when you figure they probably want Price to play 65-70 games, Budaj is a good enough option. Plus, he played well enough for the team for the most part last year (8-1-1, 2.29 GAA, .908 save percentage). That's good enough for a backup.

Budaj is what he is, which is a backup that can't carry the team on an extended period of time. He did well last season with his weekly start, but we saw in the playoffs that he isn't close to be a goalie that could help the team contend when it matters.

... to be fair, Price haven't prove he is able to raise his game in the playoffs either... yet.
