Tokarski has been sent down and Fucale has been promoted. I guess they'll continue swapping spots for the time being.

Well that answers that....I really hope they don't play Fucale in any NHL games. He's looked shaky already and I wouldn't want him to ruin his confidence.

Hopefully Tokarski gets a quick stint in the AHL to get some game action and comes back ready to share the load with Condon.

Would be nice to see Fucale in some game action barring it was the right circumstances (against EDM or something). Get him the feel of the NHL game. Would like to see McCarron get some games this season as well

I highly doubt Fucale gets any starts. He might in relief but that's it. I would think when Condon shows he needs a break that's when we see Tokarski called back up.

Good thing for Fucale is worst case scenario he is on a little vacation watching front row seats. Still have high hopes for him.

Condon's strong run continues. Tight game with just about every play bouncing off a leg or a stick somewhere.

Lucky for us even though Price is injured we keep winning. I had hopes of Carey tying or breaking the wins in a single season record. He was off to a good start...next year!!!

I think he'll get there in the remaining games.

Bournival on waivers. At least he was able to come back from his concussion, even if it won't be at the NHL level.

This day in history was the day the Habs lost 11-1 to Detroit, Roy was in net for nine goals and said he was never going to play in Montreal again. This also known as the start of the worst era the Habs have had since 1940.

Dude! Shut up about that! I don't even want to think about it.

Seriously though, I read something pretty interesting in La Presse a few weeks ago.

Apparently, the morning of that game Mike Vernon went to a greasy spoon close to the Forum to have breakfast before the morning skate. Patrick Roy was already in there, finishing up a coffee, and motioned for Vernon to come and sit with him. Although the two guys didn't really know each other that well, Roy began to tell Vernon how heavily the pressure was weighing on him and that he was considering retirement. Vernon, who I believe was in his first season with Detroit coming from Calgary, told him he should ask for a trade instead. The rest, as they say, is history.

The two never talked about that meeting ever again and, of course, eventually became bitter enemies.

Ha ha one can only wish. Would be quite the run.

Going to be a good game against Washington tonight. I want Ovechkin to score another 50 goals this year just not any against the Habbies

I wonder how the "line duo matchers" of the world are feeling if they own Pacioretty and went out of their way to acquire Plekanec...

Yeah, I noticed the line shuffling too... What's your take on the new lines, Eric? Will it last long in your opinion?

The coach can be random with lines so who knows? They lost tonight but they played very well. It'll go at least one more game.
