Price says the injury happened in warmups before the game in Minnesota and he felt worse the next morning. Maybe that will put a couple tin foil hats away but there will still be millions out there...

It's the equivalent of signing an emergency backup. Keep his ass on the bench.

I can understand the tinfoil hats. Management lost all credibility with injuries two years ago when Price was week-to-week for a full season.

Writer of the weekly Top 10 column.

12-team Keeper pool, straight points for forwards & dmen. Goalies get: 2 points per win, 3 per shutout, 1 point per assist & 1 point per shootout loss.

    League champ in 2013, 2015, 2018, 2020 and 2022.

Top 8 forwards, 5 dmen and 2 goalies count.

We keep 15 players (any position) plus two rookies.

Forwards: Panarin, Ovechkin, Kopitar, Stamkos, Tuch, Rust, Marchessault, Pavelski, Miller, Bertuzzi, Stone, Kakko, Brown, Stankoven, Kovalenko
Defence: Hedman, Fox, Matheson, Thrun, Jiricek
Goalies: Kochetkov, Talbot, Vasilevskiy, Campbell, Schmid

After 2 close periods, Toronto is just doing whatever they want in the MTL zone.

Deja vu all over again. A 'minor' Price injury that drags on and on mysteriously, and the rest of the team continues to be a dumpster fire. Wondering if they regret that silly Price contract extension already?

Nope. The way this team is set/screed up they will end up like the Leafs/Canucks. Too good for a bottom 4,5 pick but not good enough to make playoffs...

Bergevin has single handedly wrecked the next 5 plus years for this team. Fire him already.

The McCarron draft ended up really weak...

    McCarron (instead of S.Theodore... ouch)
    De LaRose
    Fucale
    Lehkonen
    Crisp
    Andrighetto

Andrighetto traded... Lehkonen is okay, but by no means an impact player... The rest are depth. So many picks in the early 3 rounds, not so much to show for it.. With names like S.Theodore, Buchnevich and Petan on the board... I realize it can't all be pinned on Bergy since many teams missed on those... but it just feels like the Habs had so many early picks in that draft and didn't come away with much.

I actually think Timmins is also the problem. It's time for a regime change (again....) oy....

No offense, but that looks pretty good to me. 3 of those guys are playing in the NHL. Sure, you can cherry pick and say Theodore and Buchnevich were drafted later, but so we're hundreds of players that have done no better or worse than McCarron.
