    Still confident?

Their remaining schedule is not pleasant... I'll bet they miss the playoffs. Book it.

Wow, the refs were really bad in this game. How bad? Dean Brown made less mistakes...

I especially liked when he said that Ben Bishop had an advantage because they Sens shooters didn't focus on their own goalies over the opposing goaltenders! Umm, yeah cause you would never know your own goalies tendencies, you know, practicing against them ALL YEAR.

Possibly the dumbest comment I have ever heard from an announcer.

I am definitely confident. I think it is tougher to play non-playoff teams this time of year who have no pressure so the schedule isn't a concern for me. Once this road trip ends they'll be fine. Dominated the last 2 games yet no points.

2 points ahead of 9th with 2 games in hand and getting some players back. It's not like all those teams behind them will win all their games down the stretch. The current Top 8 won't change IMO, other than order.

Too many things need to happen, and too many teams need to go on winning streaks, for them to miss.

Agreed. Ottawa won't be denied a playoff spot this year.

also 5 out of the last 6 games are at home, so that's huge and pretty "pleasant" to me.

It'll be tight... I bet the Jets squeak in at the expense of OTT or the Rags.

There's still room on the Leafs playoff bandwagon boys

The Jets and their -19 goal differential have no business being in the Top 8. I don't see anybody as a legitimate threat to overtake Ottawa, NYR, or NYI (how are they even in the playoffs, though? WTF).

I barely notice him in most games to be honest. Pretty one-dimensional an relies on PP and linemates too much, but obviously that dimension is elite.

Next game against New Jersey, who has lost 7 in a row. Somebody's streak is gonna end.

I don't think so but if he keeps playing well MAYBE they get closer to a split next year. But Anderson is the type of goalie who needs to play a lot of games and face a lot of shots IMO.

Just spitballing here but I think there's a legit chance that the Sens sign Daniel Briere this off-season if he gets bought out (or trade for him if he doesn't). Local guy and the team could use another Top 6 winger for sure. He would look good next to Spezza or Turris.

Briere would be a great pickup... he's not what he used to be, but he turns into a monster in the playoffs.
