Aiming for that coveted 6th spot is too much of a crapshoot at this point. Perhaps with 3-4 games left and there's better visibility then it might make sense, but my sense is that 6th-8th will be so tight that I'd hate to aim for 6th and drop to 7th-8th and have to potentially face the B's/Pens instead.

I'd prefer the less risky route of much moving up as high as possible (although realistically I think home ice is likely unattainable) and roll the dice against the Sens/Habs/Leafs.

Every team is aiming for the highest position possible. I do not condone tanking.

Not sure why you are so adamant on Boston surpassing Montreal.

Just a gut feeling... in my view they are by far the superior team, and although the B's are "struggling" right now, with a dozen games left I think it's a pretty safe bet they'll overtake the Habs.

It's obviously a fair assumption, but Montreal has been playing some good hockey all year!
    I just don't think it's so automatic.

I wouldn't be surprised to see Boston fall from that 4 spot.

Boston is definitely s one-line team right now and Chara is being exposed a bit. The East is up for grabs for sure other than Pitts.

I'd be happy with Glencross or Cammy for Bishop + Regin or something along those lines.

Regin is a negative value at this point, so nice try unloading him to another team, but it won't work like that in my opinion.

Bishop and a 3rd would probably get it done though for Glencross.

Glad Roy went to Vancouver and not here.

Well, it is Feaster we're talking about, so you never know. haha.

Bishop and a 3rd seems steep for Glencross.

How long is Glencross signed for? If he's UFA at the end of the year, there's no way I'd let Bishop go for that. The market may be flooded with goalies this off-season, but Bishop is a pretty stellar goaltender.
    10-team Keeper. Everyone keeps 12 + 1 G + 3 "young keepers" (players with less than 164 NHL games played), and 1G. Points for G (2), A (2), PIM (.2), Hit (.2), Blk (.2) SHP(1), W(4), SO(8) Must dress 4C, 4LW, 4RW, 6D, 2G

C - Crosby, Backstrom, Kuznetsov, Eichel, Johansen
LW - E. Kane, Drouin, Schenn, Miller, Foligno, Zucker
RW - Wheeler, Stone, Lindholm, Oshie, Tolvanen
D - Karlsson, Carlson, Dumba, Nurse, Ceci, Pionk, Larsson, Montour
G - Murray, Quick, Koskinen, Blackwood, Georgiev

    Minors - Turcotte, Bouchard, Kaprizov

wouldn't have minded Roy but both he and Cammalleri are not the type of people they want to bring in to Ottawa
