Yeah, I totally agree with this. The few games he played with the Senators, he was really out of place. Very intimidated IMO.

He was badly over-hyped in many places, including Dobberhockey. It was pretty obvious to me as well when I watched him. Turning Rundblad into Turris, albeit they added a draft pick, was a great move that was heavily criticized on these forums.

He has his world-class talents, I will give him that. Doesn't mean he will be able to play in the world-class league though.

I agree with you. Not sure if I can give you rep cause I think I did last week, but I'm going to try.

No one should ever question Bryan Murray within the last 5 years. Leclaire trade was awful, we all knew that at the time, but the draft table (Lehner) made up for terrible judgment on Leclaire.

And just as predicted, Borowiecki has been sent down now that Gonchar has recovered and Lundin is healthy.

People might want to start talking about Karlsson as not only the best defenceman in the league by a country mile, but also the best player in the league.

Yup, I said it. Impossible to disagree without watching the Sens every game.

I only saw a bit of the game, but Lundin looked a little shaky to me. Did anyone else get that impression?

I thought he looked good for his first game with a new organization, after one practice and just coming back from not holding a stick for weeks.

Actually, I thought he even looked good if you take out all those factors. He skated the puck well, made some quick decisions and some heads-up passes. I was impressed with our new #10.

Perhaps I just caught a couple of bad shifts. I saw a turnover, a couple of lost corner battles, and I saw him get out skated to the puck.

    Don't know much about him.

Tough loss though. Anderson was great from what I saw.

I was gonna Tweet something like this, but than I realized no one cares what I have to say on Twitter.

The Sens played one of the most complete games I have ever seen last night. All 4 lines, all 6 D and Anderson. It was a 19-man effort and if it wasn't for Ward standing on his head and some unlucky Sens bounces, that game isn't close. If the Sens play like that all year, they won't lose too many games. It was just one of those games.

Michalek needs to be better though.

He doesn't have whiplash, he has a concussion. Don't believe everything you read, especially from me! Haha.

Agreed. Very happy with that game, despite losing the extra point.

Nice to have a full squad...As full as the Sens are gonna get this year because of Spezza and Cowen's injuries.

    Like an absolute stud. (edited)

He is starting to get his chances and starting to get that ridiculous shot of his off. You can tell goalies are shocked when they feel how hard his shot is - they will start going in. He's always on the puck and his defensive prowess kept him in the lineup early on, now with his offence coming, no way he comes out of the lineup, ever.

Thanks Notch! Did you mean to say stud? Or is he starting off as a stub?
