Nothing to report about. They sucked losing 7-1.

At least Karlsson got another PP assist and Michalek scored. Both on 4 game point streaks.

Wow Sens got robbed tonight. Deserved nothing but 2 points tonight and they got robbed.

(side note: how the **** is Washington 4-0? They are so sloppy and look pretty bad for a 4-0 team).

Pretty much every Senator played well - at least no glaring duds.

Karlsson was a beast, as usual. Especially defensively, containing Ovechkin all night long. 27 minutes played for him tonight.

Rundblad showed flashes of brilliance. Really gaining confidence out there.

Zibanejad should be sent to Sweden tomorrow, I don't know why they would wait 10 more days to do it. They are playing him only 11 minutes per game and he looked out of place the last two games. Send him back now so he can get in the most games possible for Djurgarden.

Gonchar hurt in the first and never returned. Bruised foot from a blocked shot.

Oh and Spezza was robbed of a goal because "incidental contact on the goalie" by Michalek. Bullshit call but whatever. Would have put them up 1-0 and gave me a goal for my pool!

Not my favorite team by any streach of the imagination, but I must give credit were it is do, great tread. Always very informative.

Bobby Butler (groin), Sergei Gonchar (bruised ankle) out tomorrow.

Alex Auld will get his second consecutive start. Craig Anderson was not on the ice today due to a personal issue. He will back-up tomorrow.

Just wondering when you thought we might see Filatov again? Will he have to wait until or if they send Zibanejad back to Sweden. Or might we see him sooner if he continues to produce in the A.

Don't know. He will just have to keep producing. He should get called up if he remains consistent. The decision on Zibanejad should be made after next Tuesday's game so we might find out then.

A couple of other guys are fighting for a callup as well. Parrish and Daugavins have been great. But Filatov should probably have priority if he keeps producing.

My guess is he is called up for Saturday's game to face Columbus, his old team.
