Zibanejad didn't belong after his poor camp. He can still use all of October down in the AHL IMO. Garrioch just tweeted that they don't have plans to call him up. I think Grant would be a better option for the bottom 6 right now.

The weaker NHL teams are not the same calibre as the AHL, lol...Buffalo, Edmonton, New Jersey etc. are all miles ahead of AHL teams even though I and others like to joke about the Oilers. The AHL is a different experience altogether, too. Riding busses, etc.

I think they will only call up Zibby if he has really impressed after 9 games or so.

    Just be patient everyone.

JOB is another guy who may be called up. You probably want to give another shot to the guy you are paying an NHL salary in the AHL.

Does anyone on these forums, besides notch, actually attend Ottawa games? There should be a thread for this, for all teams.

From what I can tell there are tons of people who attend Leaf games.

I try to attend Sens and Habs games when they're in Toronto.

I was there. Turris, Ryan, and MacArthur are a sweet line (the #1 line right now). Just don't have enough to say about Turris. Ryan is fitting in so well. Karlsson had a great game, his old self. He'll be up and down as he fully recovers.

Brodeur is just awful. Can't believe I have him and Schneider on my fantasy team.

Haha. Karlsson was awful, unless you were only scoreboard watching.

You posted that claiming he would be sent down before the season started. It is not valid for right now, you were wrong.

I thought Karlsson looked good last night too. I wasn't at the game, but I watched it on TV and through a MSG feed.....easily Karlssons best game this year IMO.

He was absolutely great from the Devils blue-line in. Other than that, very few offensive rushes ended with clean entries; break out passes were in the feet or behind his target which lead to slower entries or dump-ins, passes were intercepted and he had to show his amazing speed to break up breakaways and 2 on 1's that he created.

Just my opinion, but he was bad in 3 of the 4 zones.
