And....he's back for the 3rd and has another assist:
Goal! Conacher redirects a point shot from Wiercioch and gives the #Sens a 4-1 lead on the PP! #GoSENSGo
And of course, now that I've been hyping up my boy, Wiercioch, he goes down with an injury. Doesn't sound so good.

Time to give up on my Stone dream for this season.
Michalek - Spezza - Ryan
MacArthur - Turris - Conacher
Greening - Zibanejad - Condra
Kassian - Smith - Neil
Da Costa and O'Brien
Hoffman will be waived and maybe O'Brien if they want Pageau to start the year in Ottawa.
Was really hoping Ryan would be LW this year, but it's not looking so good hey?
Ryan will still be LW in the internet-based leagues, most likely.
0.2% chance Pageau doesn't make opening night. They put the best team on the ice to win, and that's with Pageau in it, especially on the PK.
No surprises here but O'Brien, Lawson, Cowick and Eckford have been put on waivers today.
Tougher waiver decisions to come with Hoffman or Da Costa. My guess would be Hoffman will be put on waivers and pass through...at least I hope he passes. Some better players have already cleared and most teams have a Hoffman in my opinion. I like him, but gotta be honest.
Looks to me like Da Costa has impressed enough and rightly so and Pageau is Pageau. Stone to Bingo.
We'll see. Amazing depth in Ottawa. Thanks Bryan Murray and staff.
I don't think people realize how good this team is and will be for years. The youngest (or one of the youngest) team in the league with depth and at least one star at every position for the most part.
What will be the most likely 1st and 2nd PP units?
I'm guessing Corvo hasn't impressed enough to play on PP1. Am I right?

When healthy my guess is Michalek, Spezza, Ryan, Wiercioch and Karlsson on PP1. On PP2 you have Turris, Conacher and proabably a big body like Greening or Neil, with Karlsson and Corvo. Cowen with get the leftover 10-20 seconds when Karlsson decides to come off. I might be missing something though as I'm driving right now!!!!!
In other news, Mika Zibanejad has been sent to the AHL to start the year. Both Pageau and Da Costa made the team.
I love all the posters that like to type their comments in absolute terminology. Latest example is people that guaranteed a 23 man roster. Nope, wrong, 22 it is. Thank god I only post on Dobberhockey.

where does it look like pageau will fit? what kind of mins/pt predictions do u guys have for him?
I'm guessing 3rd line center with Greening and Condra as his wingers. Pageau and Condra are unreal together.
Point-wise, I have him pencilled in for 35 points, but 40 wouldn't surprise me.
this is both good and bad...In other news, Mika Zibanejad has been sent to the AHL to start the year. Both Pageau and Da Costa made the team.
Bad because i honestly think he is better than JGP and DaCosta
Good, because if they have enough talent to send Zib down, we are in for one hell of a season
Anybody else here think hes going down to hone his winger skills?

I don't think they want him to be a winger, they just want to wake him up a bit. He'll be here in a month or so I would imagine, after Da Costa probably doesn't show a lot.
He will probably be better than Pageau in the future but Pageau can't be sent down. He is one of the best players on the ice almost every game and beginning to show two-way star upside. He just gets it and I haven't seen a prospect like him in a long time on this team.
