After the win today, Coach MacLean: "Craig Anderson is the #1 goalie here in Ottawa, so when he is ready to play, he'll play."

    Lehner knows his role.

He is. At least he is in the minds of Sens brass and that is all that matters to me.

When Anderson is healthy and ready to go (not just dressed), he will take back the net. It will be back to the normal 80/20, or 75/25 split in favour of Anderson.

I'm not saying Anderson has been better than Lehner, not at all. Lehner has been the best in the league numbers-wise, Anderson has been brutal and let in deflating goals very early in a number of games. But none of that matters. Anderson is still the starter. There is different dynamics at work here.

But when Anderson is ready, he will play in my opinion.

Ottawa fans were ready to trade the whole team a week ago, now with Lehner they think he will win the Vezina and Hart. I'm not making that up either.

They are as streaky as Anderson. Haha.

All this because Anderson got hurt and Lehner is what we know he is. What they fail to understand in my opinion and going back to what Alfie tried to teach us, is that there is no chance Lehner is the starter this season going into his RFA year. They will keep him in the shadows for as long as they can. Lehner is already making too much of an impression most likely. Double edged sword.

No biggle, maybe I'm wrong and that's fine, but I will fall on that sword I just mentioned and love every time Anderson starts over Lehner, which will be a lot in my opinion.

Haha. So funny that the Twitter World is STILL questioning Coach MacLean on his decision to start Anderson…OTTAWA'S #1 GOALIE!!! Oh well.

Once again, who wants my seats for tonight? Ottawa against Philly.

FIRST ROW, beer and washrooms are in my section.

Yes, I know, that is all you need.

7:38 puck drop. Time is ticking away….

Whoever is interested, I will check your posts to make sure you are worthy. I get to be the judge of that. Haha

    Hey Big Ev,

Your signature now has the line "Turris is as good as me, no question," quoted by Patrice Bergeron.

Did he actually say that, or are you being a little over-the-top?

All you season seat holders will love a guy like Paul Beirne. He did great things for TFC (although was gift wrapped a great fanbase to begin with) and worked hard with the supporters group. Always approachable and certainly tries to answer every question thrown his way. His twitter https://twitter.com/Paulbeirne

My boy Paul Beirne up to his old tricks. Nice to see him doing this kinda stuff in Ottawa.

Hoffman looked good, no doubt. More importantly, Hemsky and Spezza looked great together. I hope these next 4 weeks become the "redemption" of both of them. I've always liked Hemsky, I'd love to see him succeed. You'd think Spezza would be better off with a sniper, but Hemsky might be just what the doctor ordered.
    10-team Keeper. Everyone keeps 12 + 1 G + 3 "young keepers" (players with less than 164 NHL games played), and 1G. Points for G (2), A (2), PIM (.2), Hit (.2), Blk (.2) SHP(1), W(4), SO(8) Must dress 4C, 4LW, 4RW, 6D, 2G

C - Crosby, Backstrom, Kuznetsov, Eichel, Johansen
LW - E. Kane, Drouin, Schenn, Miller, Foligno, Zucker
RW - Wheeler, Stone, Lindholm, Oshie, Tolvanen
D - Karlsson, Carlson, Dumba, Nurse, Ceci, Pionk, Larsson, Montour
G - Murray, Quick, Koskinen, Blackwood, Georgiev

    Minors - Turcotte, Bouchard, Kaprizov

I've only seen the last game but it looks like Hemsky can bring the puck into the offensive zone easily and dish it back for a scoring chance - instead of Spezza having to try and dipsy doodle and lose the puck at the blue line (which frustrates all the fans)

but it's the ultimate bandaid boy line with Spezza, Hemsky and Michelak
    Semi-retired

Can't argue with that...unless Huselius comes out of retirement.
