Looking forward to seeing him play tonight. Kruger, Shaw, and Handzus are not the answer at the #2 C. And if Q can put up with a couple bad decisions a night from Seabrook and Kruger, he can surely stomach a less-than-stellar defensive game from Pirri.

Surprised no one has commented on Brandon Pirri's good play this past week.
Thursday, Pirri scored his first goal on a nice one-timer from the slot against St. Louis. While he was skating on the line with Hossa and Sharp when he scored, it was during a makeshift change. Last night he scored while on PP2 and assisted while on the 4th line. He skated with the 4th line mostly the last two games. With his recent production hopefully he'll get that 2C opportunity.
