In addition to the Saad news. Brandon Pirri will make his preseason debut Monday night!

Joined a new league as an expansion team (2nd signature). Picked up TT. What is the likelihood I'll be seeing him in Chicago next year? (I see Dobber has listed the probability this year as 0%)...

Depends on T.T. He needs to add size to his frame.

He's learning the center position, and as it stands now Chicago has a need. But either way he's a huge part of Chicago's future plans. He played very well in his small sampling of the preseason games he's played and the team and management is very high on the kid. Scotty Bowman raves about him, Quennvile raves about him as well, as do others.

Speculating here, I put him in Chicago next season.

He's top notch talent and once he arrives and is surrounded by Toews, Kane, Hossa, Keith, Seabrook, etc etc. I cannot wait!

Everything is pointing to TT being a Hawk in 2014. Actually, it would not be surprising to see him get in some games at the end of this season like Kruger did a couple years ago. Overall, he has had a very promising summer and camp. He has elite vision, hands, and skating. And his defense has been a pleasant surprise. Obviously, he needs to get stronger and put on some pounds and he needs to improve at faceoffs. Looking forward to watching this kid in the future.

Hope he wins the 2C spot!

    Yea I know.

They changed the 2nd goal scoring to Bickell which dropped Pirri off the assist.

    #Blackhawks line rushes: Bickell-Toews-Kane, Sharp-Handzus-Hossa, Saad-Shaw-Smith, Bollig-Kruger-Nordstrom. Morin-Pirri-Hayes on the fifth.

Looks like there's no room for Morin and Pirri in the lineup to start the season with.

Crawford has " stiffness" on lower body. Was to start tonight, will sit instead. Hawks call up Raanta in meantime.

Crawford is expected to be ready for the Opener.

Got Pirri in two drafts before the season.Sent him to the farm but would be nice if he can slot into the top 6 once injuries hit or once it's realized that Handzus hasn't been a quality 2nd line center in nearly a decade...

Awful showing by the Hawks tonight. They had it in the bag after 2 periods... They were fortunate to get the loser point.

Tampa had a total of ZERO shots on goal after the entire first period ended.

Yes, it was not a very spirited effort on the Hawks side. Credit Bishop for TB he played a very good crease tonight.

    Great quote from Cooper...

Cooper: "I was looking for the police after we left the locker room because I thought we'd get arrested for stealing.'' #tblightning
