The best in the West meet tonight in Minnesota.

Ray Emery will be in net for tonight's bout ( his 3rd consecutive start).

Bickell is back in the lineup relpacing demoted Ben Smith.

Toews, Sharpie, Hossa, Kane - all four are in the top 15 in overall league scoring.

Think Paul Stastny is a fair trade for Crawford? I already have Emery and this is a great buy low time for Crawfish.

Stastny has been terrible, but he is also under the "buy Low" category.

Locking up Philly/Chi starters makes this deal feel like a must do.

    Any advice?

I don't think so. You just lost Michalek to injury. Also you only start 1 goalie, so each night 2 goalies are sitting where as you would have Stastny starting each night. I think you'd be cutting yourself off short if you did that deal.

Tonight's game was the 6th largest crowd ever at the Xcel. The Hawks walk away with the W. Good game boys. Toews and Kaner bury the Wild in Shootout. Great crowd tonight.

Ray Emery you're hot flash is killing me fantasy teams but screw it, don't care keep it goin' for the time being. We'll ride you while we can.

Bolland shut you're yapper , save it for the playoffs. http://www.tsn.ca/nhl/story/?id=382731#YourCallTop

Interesting Shake, I thought he should do it given (a) very heavy goalie stats, esp 4 pts for a W, so a 30W goalie is like a 60 goal fwd, and (b) in a G-heavy league, 2pts for G plus GWG, Stastny doesn't have as much value. Both are struggling, but if they both return to form Crawford carries far more value, incl trade value, even in a 1G start league. Yes Michalek is out now, but what uf Bryz were to succumb to injury? So Crawford gives lots of insurance there as well.

Thoughts on the Habs Hawks game (largely Habs perspective, but some Hawks thoughts), here: http://www.dobberhockey.com/index.ph...122#post866593

What a powerhouse this Hawks team is, playing a tough b2b and persevered to turn a tight game into an easy win late in the 3rd.

Great balanced attack tonight. Nice to see C.C. fire off a good game but wasn't overly tested , but good confidence booster regardless.

Seabs back and 2 helpers. Nice!!

What type of league? What's the goal here? Are those the only two players you'd consider? I'd add Stalberg for sure. Right now he's hot.

HUGE win for the Hawks. Great bounceback from Wednesday's shutout. Makes it even bigger that they beat the Wings.

Absolutely!! Seabs with a huge goal, Hossa playing like a man possessed and Toews with a Penalty shot goal. Awesome stuff!!

I guess it's a big win but Wings on the road are meh, Wings at home = untouchable.
