4 goals against in just over 3 minutes to finish out the 3rd period. Not good.

Halak is TERRIBLE. I am dropping him for Robin Lehner! He hasn't let in a goal this season!

Is he a buy low right now? Is he even worth buying, lol. That's a few bad starts in a short span now, is it injuries catching up in St Lou?

Yeah, between LeCavalier, Markov, and now Halak in a death spiral, I'm dismantling the whole team and seeing what draft picks I can line up for next year.... ;\

He's putting up Khabibulinesque numbers lately. 5.45 GAA in the past 4 games. Ouch. Glad I benched him tonight in favour of Neuvirth.

I feel your pain buddy. Thank god for Staal. haha.

I think what we're seeing with Halak is that he gets rattled easily. He lets in a bad goal...or puts it in his own net....and he falls apart.

I say owners hold tightly, his value is dropping, but the Blues seem to be actualy scoring.

    I hope I'm right

I disagree. I didn't watch the game, and am really no goalie guru or anything, but his own goal was at 8:05 in the first period. He didn't let in the next goal until over halfway through the second period, at 13:42. Over 25 minutes without a goal against should have given him time to settle in I would think. Then for some reason the flood gates really opened in the 3rd!

Let's not throw out the baby with the bathwater yet. He had, what, six straight wins with three shutouts in late Oct.-early Nov. He'll pull out of it.

If Fleury could pull out of that skid he was on, Halak can pull out of this one.

    RETIRED

If someone is foolish enough to sell Halak on the cheap, buy him right now. St Louis is in real trouble because of injuries, 2 or 3 of their major contributors, Coli, Oshie etc, are out now and it's obvious but injuries don't last forever.

Agreed. He's a better goal tender than that and you couldn;t have expected Halak to keep up the numbers he had in the first 8 games with the way St. Louis's Defense is.

I've watched a couple games and they leave him out to dry on many occasions.

I really think the Oshie injury has affected the team more than they would like to admit.

With that said maybe The school of Block could do an analysis of the last 4 games to see if there are any trends we should be concerned about
