I think its a decent offer... depends on how you see Malkin.
I would definitely take Enstrom over Martin... and probably Filatov.
Dreaming up a offer, it's what I like to do.
My Kane, Skinner, Briere
for
His Malkin, Martin/or Enstrom, and a roster spot like Hodgson,Filatov,Comrie, something along those lines.

Looks like you are really pushing to buy low here, I like the idea but not sure the guy goes for it. Personally I think you are asking too much but you never know where the guy's head is at with Malkin and Phaneuf bothing crapping last year and to start this year.
I think your adding more pieces to the puzzle than necessary. Adding roster spot players and maybe's dont usually work in deals for big stars, they just add to prolonged discussions and can create sticking points. I'd go Kane, Skinner and Briere for Malkin and Enstrom......throw the offer out there and see
9 Teams, 6 Keepers, 18 Player Roster (10F,6D,2G)
Points Only G(1),A(1) Goalies W(2), SO(3)

Keep 5 and a Franchise Goalie.
Like Metal said, depending on how desperate or disappointed the GM is with Phaneuf and Malkin, this just might work. Who can blame you for going after these guys? It's a double whammy of buy lows.
Qyestion - where the opposing manager is in the standings? The lower he gets the more he might want a shake up and with Skinner's current pace, it's very attractive. Kane and Briere aren't slouches either.
At the end of the day, he probably won't go for it but I've seen stranger things. Deadman77 brings an interesting point about that roster spot and bringing down expectations. Thing is do you want to offer your first deal and maybe negotiate down to the Malkin / Enstrom one, or do you want to go straight to the later offer?
Depends on what kind of manager he is? Does he have an active trade history? Has he voiced out his disappointment already? Get a feel for who he is, then approach with one of the two trades. The first is much better in terms of overall improvements, but the second is still respectable.
Goodluck!
