I have both Varly and nuevirth (sp?)

Varly is stashed in IR but I need to make a move and I have to activate him, which puts me over the limit.

Is it safe to drop him yet or is it better to keep him for a platoon. Has neuvirth locked #1 up?

I'm in the same position as you.

I think you have to give Varly a chance. I think if he truly is healthy....which who knows how much truth that actualy is....he will compete hard for that top spot and if that's the case...they're going to be a great tandem to have.

For my other goalies I have Halak and Elliott. So obviously I would keep Halak. But Elliott has been hot as well. So I too am in this dilemma.

I think I may bite the bullet and keep Varly on IR for a while, I won't be able to make any moves but it will give enough time to assess the situation. Don't drop him just yet. I don't think Neuvirth is completely scot free.

Washington's Coach goes both ways in whose starting -- basically who is hot at that time, one bad game and the *starter* goes to the other guy. Tough call!

I own Neuvirth and I think he's the one to keep. But, Varlamov will get plenty of starts as long as he's healthy. Seeing as how you have Ellis and Niitty as your other goalies, I'd look to drop a forward or defenseman and keep both Varly and Neuvirth.

Make no doubt about it guys Neuvrith as good as he has been has not locked anything up and duba is right Varly will see plenty of net so long as he is health so you have to hang on to both unfortunatley
