1. Rinne
2. Neuvirth
3. S. Mason
For team 1 in sig.
Hello folks, I currently have Neuvirth and Rinne on my squad and have been quite pleased with their performances thus far. It's a limited keeper league (keep 6 only) and I was wondering who do you like for the remaining of year and going forward?
The only goalie stats we currently count are 2pts for a Win and 2pts for a Shutout. (however we may be adding several different cats such as save, GAA, etc next year).
So I would like a ranking of:
Neuvirth
Rinne
S. Mason (currently on waivers and I can get him for nothing - but I would have to drop one of my current G as we are only aloud 2 goalies on our rosters...period...)
Thanks

I see you have Rinne and Neuvirth as well....you plan on keeping Rinne over Neuvirth eventhough NAS doesn't stack up to WAS...that's my dilemna...but then again, Lindback isn't as good as Varlamov who's been known to be liked by Boudreau...

Rinne is going to get more starts and more Shutouts than Neuvirth. His other stats should be better too. Linback should provide enough pressure to keep Rinne playing hard. One misstep or a couple good games by Varly an Neuvirth is a 1B goalie. As for Mason, Who knows....
Rinne
Neuvirth
Mason

Nice analysis A Watch...looks like Rinne is the fan favourite...

Rinne is the more talented goaltender, in my opinion.
Neuvirth has more competition from both Varlamov and Holtby. At least right now he does.
Nashville is a more defensive team with a history of churning out solid NHL goaltenders. Washington will win more games but they will be higher scoring games so Rinne will post better peripheral stats.
And yes, I do have 2/3 of the goalies you're inquiring about. Currently, Rinne is my keeper (we only keep one goalie), so my opinion may be slightly biased .
