Even though Hiller as a slow start and that he should do better soon (Hopefully for me), I think Ward got the edge and will provide you with the most points.

Ward.
Anaheim's best defenseman is a guy who couldn't care less about playing actual defense. Not good for goaltending.

Hiller's been pretty damn good for some time now. In his last 8 games he has allowed more than 2 goals only once. He's won 6 out of his last 8 games and 4 in a row now.Originally Posted by Supertoad12

Well I wouldn't say Pitkanen is exactly Norris caliber defensively either. And the core of Pitkanen-Corvo-Babchuk-McBain isn't exactly scary defensively.
That said this is really close. I like both Ward and Hiller. I'd say their statistics will be pretty identical when the season is over so this is pretty much about personal preference. Who do you like more: Hiller or Ward, Anaheim or Carolina? I'd probably give slight edge to Ward here.
Take Ward. He's a big game player and his stats will only improve as Carolina's young guns gain more experience.
