Start 2: Neuvirth, Ward or Rinne tonight?

Which two should I start tonight?

Ward vs NYI
Rinne vs Pho
Neuvirth vs Tor

If there was a night so far where I wish I could start three, tonight would be it.

I would say Neuvirth is a lock for tonight. The rational here is that he's proven to be a gifted goal tender and what is most important is that there is the thought of compete in the back of his mind knowing that Varly is on his way to semi-permanent health. The only snuff to starting Neuvirth tonight would be that the Leafs picked it up in the third period last night in a big way. Flash in the pan or a forest fire? Still a lock.

Ward and Rinne is a bit tougher for me to decide on. Nashville's system works, but Bryzgalov has shown that he hasn't lost his beast like presence in net. Personally, I would go with Ward against a good but less consistent team than Nashville right now.

I will be starting Nuevirth and Bryzgalov tonight.

The Islanders are a much higher scoring team than the Yotes (31 G vs. 23 G). I'd go with Rinne against Phoenix b/c all signs point to a low-scoring affair, as opposed to the Canes/Isles matchup.

Neuvirth and Rinne for better peripheral stats. Although I do like Wards chances of a win a bit more that Rinne's, his GAA and SV% may not be quite as good. Good luck!
