Halak and by far. The system he plays in is very defensive minded and he's objectively better too.

I think they are equally as talented, but Howard is young and plays on a solid team that will lock him in for years to come if history is any indication.

I love Halak, but gotta go with Howard here. I think he's a fixture in Detroit for a while and they'll continue to win.

They get underrated because....Osgood has been shite. Why do you think they have kept him so many years and gotten so many other goalies (Legace, Hasek, Howard). Because Osgood is only as good as the team was in front of him. BUT, that made him pretty good.

ALL that being said.....I think its' a real toss up, but if I had to chose one...I'd go with Howard. I think they're about equal in t alent...but everybody knows hwo will have the more consistent team for years to come.
