Halak for Varlamov and A green

Well to me the Halak deal is not fair as I see him as being far more valuable than the return.

The Khabby deal is closer, but I'd rather have the Varly, Greene side on that one, but at least it's a closer (much) than the other.

I disagree on this one.

I think the Khabibulin deal is VERY unrealistic. Khabby is:
a) old and has a history of injuries
b) has no defensive-minded d-men in front of him, and
c) due for a month of prison time

Varlamov might also cover those first two points, but he's about 15 years younger and on a better team. Greene is just gravy.

The Halak deal is closer to fair value but, like Rainy, I wouldn't take it. A full season of Halak doesn't not equal an injury-prone WAS goalie plus a toss-in defenceman.

More fair of a trade would have to be the halak trade...
Khabibibulin trade isn't fair at all.
