I wouldn't really say he's playing out of his mind. He's always had to skill to be an elite goalie and has had some fantastic stretches, just injuries and conditioning keep seeming to derail him. Now don't jinx him, haha.
PLaying outta his friggggggggin mind.
!!
and im loving it but when do you think he gets injured?? im hoping never

If he's ever going to have a healthy season it will be this year.
amazing what cutting down on fast food will do to your game! hopefully he keeps this up all season. the skill is there, so far so good on the conditioning and "I" word...

Im putting faith in him. I had M.A. Fluery, S. Mason and Lehtonen on my team, I just dealt M.A. Fluery in a package deal to acquire Nicklas Backstrom, so now Mason and Lehtonen will be starting goalie, I'll go with the hot hand each week, but still, I'm putting faith in Lehtonen once again..
Lehtonen is a pretty decent goalie (and always has been) but he'll get hurt, he's been a starter for the last 5 years, only one of those years has he exceeded 48GP, if you're a betting man those aren't very good odds. I would recommend selling high on him as soon as you can.
Hey McGoo - you forgot about the part that you will never, ever own him on a fantasy hockey team.
You okay - not sick or anything huh? Maybe just a little tired?
haha, someone drank their clever juice this morning
you are correct sir, I keep a blacklist of players who have burned me in the past or have burned others badly in the past and I avoid it like the plague, the potential upside is very seldom worth the headaches...and besides fantasy hockey is a numbers game, you play gotta play the odds, especially where they are glaringly stacked one way or the other
Yeah - I'm just jerking your chain. Posting a thread about an oft injured player is like staking a goat out in the bush to lure big game - McGoo will be there and with the script normally - you deviated a bit this time.
While I agree with you for the most part and there are certainly players I stay away from due to injury histories (Leclaire numero uno) there are also guys I don't mind taking a risk on in the right league situation. Lehtonen happens to be one of them.
Now having taken the risk on him and getting these kind of results - I heartily agree that shopping him for more durability is a pretty good idea.
hes good if his groin holds up
