Boucher or Ellis?

With Leighton out for a month, is Boucher a better option than Ellis?

I would stick with Ellis myself.

Mike Smith is a bona fide BAB; if Stevie Y and the TB management/coaching staff had confidence in him they wouldn't have signed Ellis to a two year deal. Ellis could have the #1 job their before camp is out.

Boucher isnt an everyday starter in my mind; sure he goes on great little runs, but then he just burns out and suddenly plays like a back-up again. If Leighton's injury isnt healing/showing signs of improvement, Philly will make a move. This is a team built for the now.

I agree 100% here. I feel pretty confident that Ellis secures the position in T.B, while the goalie situation in Philly hasn't been reliable since Ron Hextall.

I think a lot of us have forgotten that Boucher was the man until he got injured then Leighton stepped in and went on that great run.

WIth Boucher you're guaranteed a starter at least for the first quarter. Boucher will likely have the better stats because of the team he is on. With Ellis, he has the potential to grab the no#1 slot outright.

Tough call but I'd say Eliis, less likely to be injured.

i am going to say Boosh here. he gets little love these days (and rightfully so i suppose) but this guy can step in and succeed....he has in the past. all in all a tough call between these two.
