Brodeur, Price, Leighton - how is my goaltending situation?

Can I afford to trade Price or Leighton away to strengthen up other areas?

If you can swing Price or Leighton and upgrade your Forwards and get back a lesser goalie, then go for it!

The lesser goalie is what this is hinged on... things can go very badly for both Price and Leighton, so a "lesser" goalie might end up being a better option as you can still sell high on Price and Leighton if you hurry.

These are risks you need to think about... right now you have three #1's, and that is hard to come by in a deep 14 team league... how much weight does your league value in Goalies (I don't know the Yahoo default rules)?

I've been offered Niity, E. Staal for Price, Cammaleri, Jokinen and Niity, H. Sedin for Price, Green but I know I can get more in return. Pretty much this is the only person I can trade with...and Niity is the only "lesser" goalie I can get in return.

Goalie categories count for 40% of roto scoring - W, GAA, SV%, SHO.

All backup goalies - Auld, Hedberg, Garon, Giguere, Roloson, and more etc. have been picked up. That's how crazy goaltending is in our league.

I agree, you have 2 #1 goalie which may end up having bad season, but I guess without been lucky nor unlucky, one or the other will give you a good season. Trading Price for Nitty, you take chances on Leighton, as Nitty is a long shot behind Niemi.

Stand as you are, you'll get a better gap from either Price or Leighton over Nitty than Staal over Cammy IMO.
