Who is the best option in a points league?

noticed nobody has chimed in here yet. i must say that is a tough list, but if this is only for a 3rd goalie, I would lean towards Leighton. Powerhouse team in front of him so the W's should poor in....as long as he stays the #1. Boosh could, and has, battled him before.

Lehtonen could be a high risk high reward. Not a great team and injuries are a concern but when healthy hands down this guys has the skills.

And I will end with Rolo.....DiPi is going to miss games and NYI are getting better.

one more thing i could add is to set up an excel spreadsheet with your scoring weights and plug in some projections or 3 year averages. and see how they match up in your league settings..or you could check out hockeypoolgeek.com. they do this all for you. some of it is free and they also offer a subscription. as a subscriber i must say it is worth it. there are some threads on this if you do a search. check em out.

I'd take Lehtonen and then Leclaire in that order. Then it's a crap shoot between Smith, C.Mason, Leighton, Niittymaki and Thomas.

Lehtonen to me is the undisputed starter in Dallas and the Sens really want Leclaire to run with it in Ottawa. Obviously both have a history of injuries, making them high risk, high reward, but hey, you're talking about your third goalie here. Live a little, take a shot!
