I kinda lean towards Ward. He's still young but has a proven track record. The team around him will get better and may not be that bad this year if healthy. He puts up very respectable #'s as well.

Ward.
More proven. Better overall goalie. Solid defense in front of him.
Sorry, I'm not sold on this Ward thing (you all can holler at will, if you like). Not ruling him out either, but c'mon quit pining for the days of yore for goodness sake.
Ward tanked last year. Plain and simple. We could argue all day what caused it, but he tanked nonetheless. And historically (even in his hey-day) his GAA has been average at best. Yes I know Hiller's wasn't stellar (to say the least) but he still managed 30 wins on 59 games - which says something about the team, if you ask me (ie, pulled games out for their goalie). Also, I believe he will improve on the 30, and I like his GAA dropping some.
For me it would depend if you're looking to trade or draft either of them. But I certainly wouldn't rule either of them out so matter-of-factly. Trade...I'd go with Hiller cuz he'd be the cheaper of the two, with similar results.
