A reliable "insider" on HBoards says the Sens are in the middle of negotations for a deal that "will instantly make them contenders". Obviously I take this with some grain of salt, but this guy has been right a lot of times before. The only thing I can think of that would make the Sens an immediate contender is getting a goalie, or getting Savard.

LOL. Well my point was that both goalies are healthy going into the season so they won't make a move before the season begins.
