    Default Two Young 'Canes Goaltenders

    Justin Peters=___________________________

    Justin Pogge=___________________________

    Fill in your own blanks. I really like Pogge, as I'm a huge leafs fan, and I drank all the kool aid back then. I'd liek to know what people think about these two.

    Since no one is responding to my David Warfofsky (Or something), I have loads of rep to give.

    Peters = Career backup

    Pogge = Potential #3 goalie (think Mike Brodeur)

    You might want to replace Pogge with Mike Murphy.

    Ok, so Pogee sucks. Does everyone else think Peters is a career backup?

    Peters will be like a Michael Leighton ... always stuck in that #2 spot, but with a few years as a backup, he'll have the capability to compete as a starter. It will come down to whether or not he gets that chance. He needs opportunity. It probably won't come in Carolina as long as Ward is rockin it.

    Pogge is in a much better situation since there's a lot less pressure and he's not in Toronto or Anaheim or Phoenix anymore...but he needs to have a breakout season if he expects to get looks at the NHL level.

    Mike Murphy is dope just needs to stay healthy and really stand out when he gets his chances.

    Ward is ''the man'' in Carolina but he's a bit of a band-aid boy

    I snagged Peters in a few of my leagues as a potential darkhorse to come in and play X amount of games should Ward go down for an extended period of time .
