Any chance he becomes the #1 eventually in SJ or is he the product of a good team in front of him. 39 win rookie season, but his stats were not exactly vezina material.

Put me down for Sateri as the heir to the thrown.

There is no clear heir to Nabokov. Sateri hasn't blown people's minds away in Finland and Sexsmith has sucked bigtime. Henrik Karlsson is interesting but also wasn't mindblowingly good in Farjestad. Stalock came in and has been making clutch saves all year. Yes, his stats aren't the best, but he gets the wins and the AHL coach says that Stalock more often than not comes up with the big save when it matters the most.

The point is that Stalock has as good a chance as any other Sharks goalie prospect to make it to the NHL.
    GO WINGS!

I own him in a keeper league /farm squad

if your league allows a farm team and you have some spots to spare it wouldnt hurt picking him up .

I have no idea if the Sharks will resign Nabokov , but even if they do , Stalock is just a Nabokov injury away from potentially being the interim starter for one of the best teams in the league .

some guys take the ball and run with it , Jon Quick comes to mind .
