Default Who do you like March 18th?

    Marty B @ Tor
    Lehtonen vs Philly
    Harding @ Nashville
Rask vs Pens (if Thomas doesn't get the call)

Brodeur gets the nod but the second goalie is the toughy for me - I am in pretty good shape for goalie stats so sitting all but Brodeur is a possibility.

harding has been solid as of late and nashville's offense doesn't terrify me as much as pittsburgh's or philly's, so if you're starting 2 goalies make the second harding.

I think it probably has to be Harding. He's played well in his last 3 starts (he's allowed 6G on 119 shots) and Nashville isn't as scary as Pit. If you don't feel this matchup, I would go with Rask, but like I said, you have to be a bit afraid of Pit...

I'd go with Harding and Rask. That's right, I'm telling you to sit Brodeur even though I know you won't. Just look at Brodeur's last 5 games or so against Toronto. Even if he wins, he lets in at least 3 goals. He's even talked about how weird the games against Toronto has been. I dunno, just be weary of him tonight.

So if you're really asking between Harding and Rask (cause no way I can endorse Lehtonen. . . yet), I'd go with Harding strictly based on opponent and he's been really hot as of late. Pens are coming off a big loss and I can see them come out guns a blazing while I don't see that with Nashville.

    G'luck, Shoe!

Oh lad - you are not far off for me in my thinking about that Devils-Tor game - Toronto has been a fantasy killer for my teams over the last few years. Dropping stud goalies in against them and having them lit up for 5 is not much fun and they do that - another team that seems to do that to my goalies is Florida - kinda out of nowhere - RIPPP!

Okay Smack, so it's Harding - would you risk Rask or just sit him?

If you need the saves and wanna have a little fun, play Rask. If you want to be safe and conversavite and don't need the saves, sit him.

    I'd personally play him.

I have had more coffee and cigarettes and decided to go with the Kovalchuk factor in the TO game and start Marty as well. I think Ilya is going to bring it and if the tempo goes to the Devils early then TO is screwed.

Let's all have a laugh later when Marty gets pulled in the first 10 minutes.
