Mason's contract is up at the end of this year and Conklin has one more year. What are your predictions? Will Jake Allen get any games next year?

Jake Allen is still far from ready. You're simply not going to see a goalie jump straight from junior to the NHL. Look for him to battle Bishop for the job in Peoria next season. I wouldn't bar out a call up, but it's highly unlikely. We really need to see how he adapts to the pro game next season to get a better feel for his time table.

Look for them to bring someone in or return Mason. I've heard a lot of Schneider's name getting tossed around but who knows.

I saw Bishop play here recently against the Moose. I was impressed, he played an aggressive style and uses his size (and reach) tremendously. Him against Schneider was quite the battle!

I don't see St.Louis re-signing Mason myself; they were (rumoured) to be going hard after Lehtonen when he was on the block. Also, I seem to recall that they were trying to get Schnieder from Vancouver but that didn't go anywhere at the time.

In either case, doesn't exactly seem like management there sees Mason as the guy they plan to go with.

As for Allen; he's a long way from being an NHL starter if he even makes it that far.

    Just my $.02
    on fantasy hockey hiatus!!!
