    The third period was great...the first two periods were mediocre. The best part about the game was the warm up! There were at least a few thousand fans at the Washington end watching while there was only a few hundred watching at the Vancouver end. OV, Semin, and Green stayed on the ice at the end of warm up while everyone else got off. OV stood in front of the net while Green and Semin fed saucer passes back and forth and then rifled shots at the OV who proceeded to tip each shot into the net. Backstrom is super strong on the puck and is a great passer...he knew where OV was all the time. Semin was very impressive, his shot is insane. He was probably the best player last night. Ovechkin seemed to have an off night but was still amazing to watch. Kesler and Raymond were the best Canucks, both are so fast. Kesler was very impressive! Sedins seemed to take on a defensive role and were successful in shuting down Washingtons big guns.

    I was there too as I have a half season's ticket. Caught the last 5 min of the warm-up and my 6 year old son and I marvelled at the puck skills of those 3 guys. It's also pretty uncommon for the 'big stars' to even stay on the ice for the entire 20 min warmup...pretty cool.

    The 1st shift of the game, OV was on fire and made an unreal pass to Backstrom who kind of fanned. Had that one gone in...who knows. It's unreal to see both Green and OV play almost the entire 2 min of every powerplay (which actually stunk last night).

    Dallas got me through today, so looking to see who else is joining me for Sun.
