New Keeper League Forming !

A new keeper league is now forming. The pool will begin in 2008-2009, but we will set up a league this season and play it out for fun and then hit the ground runnning for next season. The details...

- Roto Style
- 27 Man Roster
- 3 Man Minor League Roster (more details upon sign up)
- Start 9 forwards, 6 Defenceman, 2 Goalies
- Categories: 10 categories
Goals/Assists/+-/PIM/D-man Points/Majors
Wins/GAA/SV%/Shutouts
- You keep up to six players each season and keep them based on their draft round minus three rounds. All players taken in the top 3 rounds are NOT eligible to be kept.

- $125 Entry Fee
- $75 Last place Penalty (the team that \"plays for next year\" gets socked a littler harder)

Payouts
- Top 3
- Team with biggest post Jan. 1 improvement gets $75 last place penalty.

The goal is 12-20 teams. I currently have 3 on board. For this season, you will only have to pay what it takes to cover the software fee on CBS Sportsline. CBS has great software for keeper leagues, in fact it\'s unmatched in the business.

I have set the framework of this league based on a baseball league I\'m in and it works GREAT and is a lot of fun. I will start drafting a full constitution and set up the league once I know the league is going to happen (8-10 players and I will set everything up).
