must i keep bulin

my second goalie is bulin but i dont know if i must keep him ....
i want to keep edler at the place of khabibulin
and the goali available at my ranking draft will be
andersson,
elliot ,
gustafsson
howard
crawford
halak
lethonen
harding
amd this is a keeper pool and the goalis are important in my league

i rather have elliot harding quick and lehtonen ahead of Bulin, so yea i would take Edler over him.

Meh....tough choice.

Let me pose a question: Are you competing this season?

If so, then I think you have to keep him.

If not, then keep Edler and try to grab any of Quick or Lehtonen(not my style worrying if he gets injured every night). IMO, Anderson's a nice option in a couple years when the young Avs take flight.

Also a heavy factor would be the scoring system your league utilizes.

i am torn for this decision and we must give the list of ours keeper only in 3 weeks......
one of the rule about our pool.
we must take only the 16 most productive on our team
and if i can have a third def that can produce thats give
me some possibility like a young rookie or a goali for ther futur
and yes i compete for the first place because i win last year

If you're competing, then keep him. The only one's close to him on that list for production this year are Lehtonen and Quick. And Lehtonen's brittle.

Ya I think you need to keep him then.

1. Don't count on Bulin to play more than 60 games.

2. If you can replace him with someone who will play 50 games, then it would be worth it.

Therefore, drop Bulin, pick up Edler, and replace Bulin with any of:

Anderson
Quick
Bulin (I assume he would be available)
Gustafson (I have a feeling he could take over, if not this year, then next)

Also, these have a chance of stealing the show this year:

Harding (will play, but only if traded)
Elliott (if Leclaire goes down with injury)
Crawford (my fav of the lot, most risky with most upside. Huet is not the Hawks' goalie of the future. It is between Crawford and Niemi, and I think Crawford has the inside track. When Huet gets traded/goes down/is demoted to 1B, then you will have goldmine in Crawford, if he is the replacement instead of Niemi).

Don't touch:

Lehtonen - a Ferrari that's always in the shop.
Howard - Detroit is great. Howard is not.
Halak - one of the most talented on the entire list, and a great pickup; but number 2 behind Price, and no guarantee he will be traded.
