    Default Should I drop Pogge?

Team in sig. Should I drop Pogge for Curry or Lalande? I'm waiting to see what happens with the talks of Burke trading Pogge to a team where he has a shot at making the NHL. Depending on what happens there, or not at all, I'm dropping Pogge's disappointing ass to pick up either Curry or Lalande. Or maybe Lee, considering I already have Bryzgalov?

I'm also most likely getting Richard Bachman in the current draft that's going on. Just a couple of picks away.

Take Bachman and have a beer. Pogge isn't anything special.

There's just something about Pogge's play that sits wrong with me. I got to watch his games, and you'll hear about how he had a bad Leaf's team in front of him but that had NOTHING to do with his losses. His positioning was awful and once he let in a goal, his confidence came crashing down. I know it could all be first year jitters but he would just have to correct so many things about his game before he actually becomes a factor.

I like Curry and Bachman over him.
We get one of these - Don't waste it.

Pogge's awful. Sorry, never saw anything in him. I'd go with Curry over Bachman. None of these guys should see many games this season. Pitt has trusty Johnson to tend to the net when Fleury misses his 20+ games, and Bachmann's gotta contend with Auld backing up Turco. Sure, both would get some games barring injury to Turco or Fleury, but not many. Future, I'd go with Curry, I just think he's a tad better than Bachmann....Curry looked awesome in those 3 games(best in the one game he lost to Buffalo).

I like Curry but would go with Bachman simply because he has a chance to take over as the #1 in Dallas in the near future. I don't think Turco will be renewed in Dallas. Curry needs a trade out of town to get that chance.

I like Curry. Not the goalie the food. I dont like Pogge at all as well. Overrated for being the starter at WJC. Pick-up Bachman as like most said will definitely get the chance to replace an aging Turco.

Alright, thanks guys. But I will be picking up Bachman regardless. He's not part of the Pogge equation I have three picks left and I plan to take Bachman with one of them, then when the draft is over I want to drop Pogge's ass and pick up someone else. Leaning towards Curry now.

They said it, and you already know it. Pogge's ass is grass, regardless of his new "opportunity". Lalande over Curry, imho. His upside may be the same, or even worse, but the injury propensity up the org chart favours Lalande.

So no love for Mike Lee? Second best goalie prospect in the draft according to Bugg and Dobber...

No. He's brand-fracking-new to hockey, compared to Lalande and Curry.
Plus Montoya will block him for years.
Lalande is your man. Curry will back up in a year or two, but I like Lalande first.

Pogge is pretty much useless in fantasy hockey. I'd drop him and use his roster spot on someone with more potential.

What if I throw in names like Alexander Salak, Tyson Sexsmith, Jeff Frazee and Joacim Eriksson?

I still put Curry/Bachman above Salak and friends. I like Curry because of the wins factor in Pittsburgh. And I like Bachman because he has an opening to become a #1 goalie in the near future.
