    Default Price over Bryzgalov

Goalies stats play a huge role in my league. Head to head, 20 teams, 25 man keeper rosters, max 3 goalies. Goalie Categories are Wins, Sv% and GAA (other league categories are G, A, +/- and PIM).

I currently have in net: Bryzgalov, Smith, Howard

I know the owner that has Price is not a fan of his.

How big of a jump is Price over Bryzgalov in your mind? Would you do a Bryz and Mueller trade for Price?

    Thanks for your thoughts.

Price is an upgrade over Bryz, I would take that deal with your stat-cats for sure. Price's upside and age will help you more than Bryz...and I think Price is poised for a very nice rebound year with Martin coming into MTL.

Yes, I would do this trade. Probably the cheapest you would be able to acquire him for...

    RW: P. Kane, Okposo
    LW: E. Kane, Couture
D: Subban, Byfuglien, Faulk, Vatanen, Morgan Reilly
    G: Schneider, Gibson/Andersen
    UTIL: Kuznetsov, Kadri, Little, Stone

D: J. Schultz, Sekera, Hanifin, Hamonic
    F: Spooner, Silfverberg, Konecny, Roussell

Price is a monumental jump over Bryzgalov. Trade Bryzgalov and anything else you can to upgrade before the other GM realizes the Bryz hype is just too much.

I dunno - that's a pretty deep league to be giving up a decent starting goalie and Mueller for a goalie upgrade. I would like to see alot more of your team before I jumped on this deal as being good.

While I love Price over Bryzgalov, I think that you'd need at least a decent prospect coming back to even things up.

Yeah...I guess I only saw Price/Bryz and really didnt look at the rest of the deal. A prospect in return would be nice. I would definitely start figuring out a way to make it happen though. Sooner or later, people are going to realize that Bryzgalov is just another Marty Biron.

haha Dubbal, I dont think he's another Biron, but you're right he's no Price. Put it this way, Price is a prime buy low candidate so this is the time to acquire him, but I dunno if sending Bryz/Mueller is a good buy low offer, it seems pretty balanced to me actually. I think both goalies are poised to have big seasons next year, and stats wise they may be similar. Long term though, Price is your man

When did Bryzgalov lose 50 pounds?
