Deslauriers or Curry

Looks like both will be backups next season. Who would you prefer to own for next season & beyond?

I think Deslauriers gives you the best chance at stealing some serious minutes. Bulin hasn't exactly been consistent over the years and he's getting up in age.

If you want to win soon, I would go with Curry, because the Pens get more wins than the Oil. If both play 20 games, Curry probably gets you 12-13 wins while Deslauriers gets 10.

But long term, I'd say Deslauriers has that extra bit of talent to potentially become a #1 in the NHL.

JDD will probably get around 30 starts with a record of 13-17 with average stats Curry will probably get around 20 starts with a record of 12-8 with good stats

Also, every year it seems Fleury is out for an extended period(2-4 weeks).

SO I would take Curry.

CURRY for sure...But if they have buttered chicken i would prefer that. Deslauriers just dosnt sound good!

Guys above pretty much nailed it. I would take Curry over Deslauriers short-term AND long term. I honestly think Curry is going to round out his game at a quicker pace then Deslauriers. I think both goalies are very talented, but Curry has more poise and confidence. Deslauriers is kind of a "work in progress" and could be considered a "late bloomer" compared to that of Curry!
