Obviously the first thing I'll need to figure out is whether or not it's a one-way or two-way deal.

I'm surprised they would bring in someone like Sabourin. Unless he's brought in to take over Providence's starting role, this doesn't make a lot of sense.

Tuukka Rask should be Tim Thomas' backup. No questions asked. Sticking Sabourin in there is just a waste of money and time.

It's probably more of an insurance policy in case Rask struggles and needs more seasoning.
