Anyone else benching Luongo tonight?

9 goals allowed in the two games since he returned from injury, against low scoring teams. On the road tonight in San Jose. Yikes. He\'s on my bench for sure, which means he\'ll probably post a shutout. Anyone else conflicted here?

It doesn\'t help the fact that Luongo has had troubles with the Sharks when completly healthy. I would bench him as well, but as stated he could always come up big. You can never tell.:laugh:

So, if I play him, will that counteract you guys and he\'ll give up 8 goals?!?

That\'s the scenario I see, going in to play SJ. Which means....he\'ll post the shutout.

I just couldn\'t bring myself to play Lehtonen tonight against Montreal, and of course he\'s up 2-0.....

I don\'t have Luongo, but the guy I am playing in my H2H this week has Big Joe and Boyle in the lineup against me, so I NEED Lou to come up huge! He\'s freakin\' due for a big game, right??

safe move would be benching him. If you need to take a risk, play him. I\'d probably bench him if I could (weekly lineups).

Im gonna bench him because playing vs. San Jose, I just see bad things coming. I think he needs the all-star break to come before he turns the corner.

I have a rule. ALWAYS play your studs. I have played Lundqvist EVERY game this season. Yes he\'s stunk it up on occasion, but every game he has a chance to post a shutout. Same for Luongo.

I benched him...I went with Lundqvist and Conklin who both have far more favorable matchups.

Gripes...bad idea. Conklin got lit for 5 thus far...heck, I\'d would have been much better off playing Elliott (two t\'s) against the Caps!

Although im pissed that he\'s kicking ass when I sat him, this is a welcome change from his last two starts. I need him now since Mason and Conklin are falling apart.

I find it hard to play the matchups, that\'s why I always go with my top guys. Luongo is a top three goalie in any format. Yes he was a little rusty, but tonight he appears back in form.

One thing I absolutely hate is trying to figure out which goalies are going to start. Situations like Detroit with Osgood and Conklin or Boston with Thomas and Fernandez are just brutal when you have weekly or daily rosters. Just one more reason to grab that stud goalie early!
