    Default CBS scoring question

    In our league we separate F scoring and D scoring (G, PPG, +/-, PIM, A), can CBS handle that? I dont see where they can handle that.

    Can anyone suggest a good site that does? We\'ve used TQstats for a few years now and are unhappy. I want real time scoring like CBS offers, but we need to separate the scoring.

    Any advice? Thanks guys!

    Two sections - track total separate scoring for F and separate scoring for D? How does that work? Never heard of that way... In most managers you can change the scoring formula for D and for F

    not sure I follow you

    do you mean you reward d-men and fwds different point totals for the stats you mention ?

    for example
    forwards = 2 pts for a goal
    d-men = 4 points for a goal

    and so on ....

    if thats the case , you can save money and just use poolexpert.com as they do offer this.

    Sorry if i didn\'t explain myself. It is rotisserie style, so each category is weighted evenly.

    Our categories are:

    FG, FA, FPPG, F +/-, FPIM, DG, DA, DPPG, D +/-, DPIM and goalie categories.

    So we dont want to lump FGs and DGs in one category, b/c it wont keep our current scoring system? Does that make sense?

    Any sites you can recommend?

    If Yahoo can\'t handle that, then I would run two pools in Yahoo - one for forwards and one for defensemen. Then merely add the points of the two pools up. Just a little bit of extra work, but that\'s a fall-back option at least...
