Well as much as he shows promise, Leclaire is the man when healthy so I am not sure this is a reasonable risk. I think I would sit on Bouchard for now.
What do you guys think of Steve Mason. Will he stick with the big club for the rest of this year? Bouchard\'s performance so far has been disappointing, but he is valuable being a LW/RW and he should start producing soon. I have 3 solid goalies at the moment but might be able to move one of them for a high performing winger if Mason is a good option.
Thanks for the advice

I think Shoeless is right on this one. Leclaire will be back soon and better case Mason will be the backup. Bouchard is too good not too start producing.
Mason will not be the starter unless Leclaire is out for some time. Possible yes, but I wouldn\'t hedge my goaltending strategy on this one.
Additionally, what do you expect out of Mason. He will likely develop into a pretty good goalie, but I don\'t see him being an elite goalie anytime soon, if ever. What he develops into is likely years away imo.
Mason will be sent back to the AHL for seasoning. He would need to go on fire and remain on fire for the entire time he is in Columbus to remain. Crazier things have happened. I personally think he\'ll spend some time in the AHL.
Bouchard is a very fine commodity. He\'s also in a great situation and should some on fire promptly. He has a proven track record. I wouldn\'t want to be giving up my Bouchard, even for a great prospect like Mason.
