Default Who is the best young player for NJ?

Assuming they all come to NA.

    Parise
    Zajac
    Bergfors
    Vasyunov
    Zharkov
    Other

In terms of upside vs. likelihood to achieve.

It seems they have a great youth movement going on, yet staying very very competitive. Great drafting looks like!

PS is there a way to do polls I am missing? thanks

As of now, I don\'t think this message board is formatted to allow polls. I like parise and zajac, mainly because I\'ve had a chance to see them in action at the nhl level.

I like either of them to be one of the big guns in New Jersey for years to come. Their upsides there aren\'t that great though (since new jersey\'s such a defensive team), but I could still see them around 70 points. I can see Zajac putting up more points than Parise if Gomez gets dealt or leaves. Could you imagine Zajac\'s production centering Elias and Gionta? My goodness. A center\'s dream.

Scouts like Vasyunov. I just did a full revision of the prospects list - lots of new ones, lots higher, lots lower....Vasyunov remains in the Top 20.

Zharkov has the greatest upside by far, but his % chance is the lowest - very high risk/reward.

I think Parise is the best package all around, but Bergfors is rapidly changing my mind.

whoever takes gomez place will be the clear winner.
parise is a natural center but playing well on the wing so julien is lucky to be able to try both him or zajac, either way both are solid fantasy contributors for years to come as they should get top six minutes.
concerning these 2 and the rest of the young pack, i agree with dobber, but there is not much pt difference between these kids. max 10...so you need to pick the kid who you think is the most durable.
