Make a move for Quick?
Team in sig. My goalie is a disaster this year and I think I'll need a good starter G to survive through playoff. Thinking of offering Ehlers & Thachuk for Quick. Does it seems like a good trade / offer to begin with? I have an abundance of LWs and I can use the extra spot for Hedman / Barrie when they are off IR.

Yes absolutely make that trade if you can. But from my experience, its really hard to pry away a top goalie without giving a goalie of substance back. It's not a trade many teams can afford to make. Do they have really good goalie depth? I might try to aim a little lower than Quick if you can, particularly if there's a team with 3 or 4 quality starters on their roster.

It seems like I can get Quick for Ehlers and Anderson. I'm currently 2nd place and can use some steady goaltending, although Quick hasn't been that solid lately. I'm taking a chance here on Quick rebounding. Ehlers should do much better now that Scheifle is back.
This will open up a spot for me to add back guys like Keller, Gourde, Reinhart, O'Reilly etc...
Thoughts? Pull the trigger?

That works, I think. You can replace Ehlers pretty decently off the wire.

Quick will be ok. If you can make the deal, do it. Top flite goalies are tough to get, especially around fantasy playoff time.

Quick and the kings are a gamble. They’re out of he playoffs and just picked up a solid anchor known as Dion Phaneuf.
However, in your case, it’s a gamble I would take.
