I am currently in 2nd place and I have been strong across the board in goalie categories and in assists. I need goals and shots more. Is this a worthwhile deal for me? It would also help my keeper situation at the end of the year where I will have to lose all of Galchenyuk, Neal, Perry, Dumba and Mike Smith.

i dont think its worth it...remeber as great as Tavares is 57 points in 48 games thats selling high on him..His best season was 86 so far and now he is on peace for 97 in his carrier season....i would not do this..
other side to this equation is that Voracek had bad season last year but i would say 70-75 should be what we can expect from him...

In a keep 15 I imagine most teams keep at least 2 goalies. Rask is your best goalie keeper so moving forward you could have some major tendy issues. You'd probably have to keep Lundquist and Smith, neither of which I'm a huge fan of at this stage of their careers. Although admittedly you could get 1 more good season out of them and draft a goalie early next season so it may still be worth it to land JT.
It's tough call and would come down to how many goalies are typically kept and how high their prices are to acquire in your league.
