Can Marchessault continue this production for the rest of this year and into the future? Or is he bound to slip and move down the lineup?

I think he can keep it going.. The Knights just signed Marchessault to a big deal almost cementing his role on that team. I think it is normal for a player "slip" a little after signing a huge contract.. But Marchessault is only 27, he has alot left to give and won't be moving down the lineup anytime soon..

For what it's worth, I don't think he will fall off a cliff or anything. In terms of "selling high" - I'd sell any player high. No harm in shopping him to see what other's in your league value him at...

Looks like a 1st round pick top 5 rookie draft and Vancouver's Petterrson could be on the table for him

i dont think he will keep PPG pace but i dont think he will suddenly become 40 point player either, i would say 60-65 points is safe bet going forward, this year maybe he hits 70.

i think problem with the Knights is that offence is quite distributed so hard to put your eggs in one basket, and im still not sold on them carrying this into the next season, i think they will fall off quite substantially after all the hype goes down in the summer.

If it's a package of both of those things, then I'd take it. I think by the time the draft rolls around, you might be able to move that pick for something closer to producing, and you are deep at center.

I been trying to sell high on him in my leagues but have no takers. I think his production slips next season down to maybe 60-65 pts.

I think last year he slowed down in the last 1/3 of the season.... so he might do the same this year.

So if you own him try and sell him before the final 1/3 of the season.

If you do not own him... wait until the off season to buy after he slows down for the final 1/3 of the season.

Well Smith and Marchessault have both crapped the bed since I acquired them 2 weeks ago. Well not that bad....but performing below what they were.
