    1) Yes, it might be time to sell high on him.
    2) Neither of those offers are remotely good enough to count as selling high.

I sold him last summer for Kucherov and everyone told me I was crazy. Don't think many would give Kucherov to get Kane now! But you really need to find better offers than those. Shop him hard and talk him up big.

True. I would say just make it known to all GMs that he's available and see what comes in? That's a start - competition in Bids.

Unless you are getting something really good for P.Kane, I would recommend keeping him. He is only 29 and has alot left to give!!

Those offers are brutal. In my 16 team league green and nurse are basically waiver material.

Ya you have to keep him for now. Even if you can't compete for 2 years he will only be 31 and still a great producer.

I'd be listening to offers for the next couple years but you have to make sure you get a good return for elite players like Kane.
    Set roster weekly in H2H (Mon to Sun) - 16 Teams - start 6F, 3D, and 1G per week - Keep 2

    Points: 2 G / 2 A / 1 PPG / 1 PPA / 1 Hat Trick / 1 SHG / 1 SHA / 1 GWG - 3 Goalie Win / 2 Goalie Loss in SO or OT / 5 goalie SO

    Forwards:
    C. McDavid, N. Kucherov, R. O'Reilly, J. Schwartz, J. Toews, J. Huberdeau, T. Toffoli, M. Granlund

    Defense:
    B. Burns, J. Klingberg, R. Josi, J. Slavin

    Goalie:
    J. Binnington

If you're a couple of years away from contending, why would you want Mike Green?

Remember, elite for elite. If you are going to trade Kane, make sure you get another elite piece back in some form.

Writer of the weekly Top 10 column.

12-team Keeper pool, straight points for forwards & dmen. Goalies get: 2 points per win, 3 per shutout, 1 point per assist & 1 point per shootout loss.

    League champ in 2013, 2015, 2018, 2020 and 2022.

Top 8 forwards, 5 dmen and 2 goalies count.

We keep 15 players (any position) plus two rookies.

Forwards: Panarin, Ovechkin, Kopitar, Stamkos, Tuch, Rust, Marchessault, Pavelski, Miller, Bertuzzi, Stone, Kakko, Brown, Stankoven, Kovalenko
Defence: Hedman, Fox, Matheson, Thrun, Jiricek

Agree fully with this. He was traded in my league during the summer for Nathan MacKinnon and some smaller pieces (picks, second tier farm players). The guy trading him didn't consider himself to be in contention for a few years, and saw MacKinnon as a guy who would be better than Kane in a few years. Obviously, MacKinnon's break out came much sooner, but the strategy remains. If you are trading elite, you need to get some sort of elite back. I would be targeting a guy like Dave Pastrnak, or a combo of players like Aho and Boeser.

Piggy-backing on this thread because I've been thinking the same thing this year. When I went out and tested the waters on it, the best return that the other GM was thinking about was Pastrnak + Hamilton for Kane.

Think I should pursue that deal again?
