Do you live on the west side of the island?

I will concede that from October to April it rains quite frequently. But from May to September you will not encounter a more glorious climate anywhere.

East side of the island. May/June can sometimes be a coin flip. Regardless Easter kicks off my camping season. And I agree, especially to the rest of Canada... don't know what they're missing

Can't see: Cougars (Prince George Cougars will claim copyright - same as the London Knights did with Vegas); Firebirds (Flint Firebirds of the OHL will do the same as PG); Seals (California Golden Seals probably still own the copyright); Kraken, Rainers, Totems & Whales (don't flow).

That leaves: Eagles, Emeralds, Evergreens, Renegades, Sea Lions, Seals, & Sockeyes. Of all of those, I like the Renegades the best - they could have a really cool logo and their marketing could go thru the roof.

Nostalgia would be Rainers, Pilots, SuperSonics.

Reign ( aside from someone else using the name ) is pretty cool. Has quite a bit of leeway in a logo .
Thunderbirds is also pretty cool except ^

Metropolitans was mentioned . Has pretty cool history . They could raise the 1917-18 Stanley Cup banner on opening night.

If the Reign wasn't already LA's AHL affiliate's name, it'd be top of my list.

The Rainiers would be awesome. I'm a pretty big geology geek, and the idea of the team being named for the tallest peak in the lower 48 is awesome to me. Plus they could have a sweet logo close to the Colorado Rockies (which yes, I really do like, even though I've heard people think it's a little boring).
