Letang for pick
Not for team in sig, but same layout. I could use a defencemen. I also have a older team...so old after next year I'll probably have to "blow it up" and restock. But was offered letang for my first next year...I know the old bird in hand saying but letang doesn't guarantee a win. It would help tho. looking for thoughts/opinions. I'm leaning towards keeping my pick. If I keep my team intact and trade my first then play through till my next year of a first round pick. I'm guessing the pick id trade for letang would be between 5th to 10th overall (that years draft class)

I'm with lucafen, if that's all it takes to get an established guy like Letang (even with his injury history), I'd be jumping all over the deal. It's not like the single first rounder this year will change the fact that you're in store for a full rebuild in the near future. If you can stay competitive next season, it's not time to rebuild yet anyhow.

The injury proneness that looms always worries me... whether that be wrong or right to do so...
He is an elite Dman for sure... Lots of points, PP1 exclusivity and shoots the puck plenty
Whether or not he is worth a 1st round pick would highly depend on your keeper format... how many do you keep? What type of players typically go in the 1st round?
