Since its unlimited keepers, why wouldnt you keep them all?
Hi. Im in an 8 team, 30 roster spot, dynasty league with unlimited keepers. The league is in its first year so every GM drafted a whole new team this season (240 players rostered total). Myself and a couple of other GMs did try to draft relatively young, while others went for the big names, regardless of age. Im curious, what would be a good keeper strategy approaching seasons end and trade deadline and so on? How many players should I aim to keep? Are like 20+ players a crazy idea? Say that I keep 20 players, then perhaps Risto/Horvat would be my 20th keeper and I highly doubt I would get better players in the 20th draft round if I let one of them go. Since I've never done this before - what's the general line of thinking? =)

Well, you tell me =) Thought maybe there's something to gain in drafting new prospects and so on... Perhaps I should just keep them all, that was my first idea. Just wanted to ask, since I don't know how this really works. Thanks for advice!

Keep them all at this stage. If you can add and drop during the season if a rookie or undrafted player gets hot and one of your players fall out of favor then use that strategy.
The league is only 240 players deep and it shows when arguably your worst forward is Drouin. It's unlikely you'll be able to pick who might outperform Drouin next season from a batch of rookies and free agents. It may not even happen.
Stick with what you got and adjust on the fly next season if necessary.
